The more your home or property is worth, the more you can save. That’s because HomeMint charges a small listing commission of 1% regardless of how much your property sells for. And we pay 3% to the buyer’s agent so that you get maximum marketing exposure.
Very often a broker will charge you a fee in addition to their percentage-based commission. This might be called a Transaction Fee, Processing Fee, or Compliance Fee – whatever. It’s just a fee in addition to the usual high commission you are already paying – or you might pay a fairly large base Fee, which is often charged upfront, plus a percentage of the selling price. There are many ways that brokers combine multiple fees and commissions to increase their total profit from a sale, and they are not always clearly disclosed upfront.
With HomeMint you don’t need to negotiate anything, we are already offering the lowest listing commission. On traditional percentage-based commissions, half of the commission is usually paid to the buyer’s broker, and the other half is kept by the seller’s broker (listing broker). So, for example, if the total commission charged is 6%, then the Seller’s Broker would typically split the commission 50/50, keeping 3% for themselves and offering 3% to the Buyer’s Broker.
By charging just 1% on the Seller side of the commission, we discount our side of the commission, not the Buyer’s Broker commission, so you can still offer the maximum incentive for Brokers to show your home and bring offers, while still saving a lot of money on the total commission when compared to the average commission to sell a home – and without offering less to a Buyer’s Broker, which can put you at a competitive disadvantage.

Examine the market – evaluate your home – determine price expectations – recommend which preparations are worth making and which are not – set up the best way to show your home – create an expertly prepared MLS presence to find and capture the interest of the most possible buyers, wherever they are in the world – launch a comprehensive and effective marketing program – make sure that finding, showing and making offers on your home is encouraged and as easy as possible for buyer’s agents – present and coordinate all offers and skillfully negotiate per your instructions – Screen out bogus Pre-Approvals, fake investors and time-wasters – Once an offer is accepted, make sure the buyers, their agent, and all the other players do what they’re supposed to, when they’re supposed to – help you with your tasks along the way and make sure everything’s done in time for the closing to happen when it’s supposed to and that everything is the way it’s supposed to be.
