The more your home or property is worth, the more you can save. That’s because HomeMint charges a small listing commission of 1% regardless of how much your property sells for. And we pay whatever amount you chose (if any) to the buyer’s agent so that you get maximum marketing exposure.
Very often a broker will charge you a fee in addition to their percentage-based commission. This might be called a Transaction Fee, Processing Fee, or Compliance Fee – whatever. It’s just a fee in addition to the commission you are already paying – or you might pay a fairly large base Fee, which is often charged upfront, plus a percentage of the selling price. There are many ways that brokers combine multiple fees and commissions to increase their total profit from a sale, and they are not always clearly disclosed upfront.
With HomeMint we are offering one of the lowest commissions for a full service listing in our market. With NO additional fees.
In addition to paying the listing broker their commission, until recently, sellers also always paid the buyer’s broker commission. That is now an option. The seller can offer to pay any amount toward the Buyer Broker’s commission, or nothing at all. However, offering to pay an amount towards a Buyer Broker’s commission means less out of pocket costs to the buyer and will enable more buyers to consider purchasing your property and encourage higher offers as well. The choice is yours, and we are happy to discuss the pros and cons of paying the buyer broker’s commission (or a portion of it) with you so you can make the best choice for you.
By charging just 1% on the Seller side of the commission, we discount the listing side of the commission, so that you have more flexibility in considering how much, if anything, to offer towards a Buyers Broker’s commission, so you that if you chose, you can offer the maximum incentive for Brokers to show your home and bring offers, while still saving a lot of money on the total commission when compared to the average commission to sell a home with maximum buyer side incentives.
